To explore and innovate rules and practices of international E-commerce, HZAC has taken initiative to coordinate with domestic and overseas arbitral institutions to build cooperation mechanism and jointly contributed to the development of cross-border e-commerce. Since 2017, HZAC has signed the Memorandum on Strengthening the Strategic Cooperation in International Commercial Arbitration of Arbitral Institutions in the Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zones (the Hangzhou Declaration) with 13 domestic arbitral institutions. The Association of Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zones Arbitral Institutions has been initiated by HZAC and the secretariat has been based in Hangzhou. The association has 14 arbitral institutions, including Chengdu Arbitration Commission (CDAC), Chongqing Arbitration Commission (CQAC), Dalian Arbitration Commission (DLAC), Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (GZAC), Hangzhou Arbitration Commission (HZAC), Hefei Arbitration Commission (HFAC), South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SCIA), Ningbo Arbitration Commission, Qingdao Arbitration Commission (NBAC), Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC), Shenzhen Arbitration Commission (SZAC), Suzhou Arbitration Commission (SZAC), Tianjin Arbitration Commission (TJAC) and Zhengzhou Arbitration Commission (ZZAC).
In respect of foreign-related arbitration, Hangzhou Arbitration Commission has taken initiative to establish close cooperation with international arbitration circle. Since 2017, HZAC has successively held the Standing Forum on Cross-Broder E-Commerce Dispute Resolution (2017-2019) and has signed memorandums of cooperation with 12 foreign dispute resolution institutions in Hong Kong SAR, the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Singapore, Dubai, Pakistan, South Korea, Bulgaria, Greece and other countries and regions.
