Recently, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hangzhou Committee (CCPIT Hangzhou) and Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC) have co-organized the Hangzhou-Singapore Exchanges Meeting on Diversified Resolution for International Commercial Disputes. Gloria Lim, CEO of SIAC, and Xu Shuilan, Deputy President and Member of Leading Party Group of CCPIT Hangzhou, presented at the conference. Ni Zhen and Li Xuanle, both Deputy Secretaries-General of HZAC, were also invited to attend the conference.

Gloria Lim introduced the organizational chart and business development of SIAC, as well as its innovative practical experience in international commercial dispute resolution. As an international arbitral institution engaged in resolving cross-border disputes, SIAC has maintained long-term close cooperation with HZAC and CCPIT Hangzhou Committee, said Gloria Lim. She maintained that dispute resolution institutions shall keep reforming itself and keep pace with the times, learning from each other, building up consensus, and working together to provide diversified resolutions for international commercial disputes. 

Ni Zhen briefly introduced the organizational structure, institutional mechanism and other basic information of HZAC, and shared the specific measures in diversified disputes resolutions and its practical effect.

Li Xuanle elaborated the basic situation of international arbitration in Hangzhou, and the cooperation and exchanges with SIAC and Singapore International Mediation Center over the years. She hoped that HZAC and SIAC may establish more extensive cooperation in international arbitration and work together to explore a better road of development for arbitration, to break new ground in arbitration development and upgrade arbitration services for the economy and society.

Also present at the conference were Zhang Cunyuan, Director of SIAC China and Chief Representative of Shanghai Representative Office of SIAC, Shen Donghui, Manager of Business Expansion of SIAC China, Shen Li, President of International Commercial Court of Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court, Xu Lingmin and Fu Beiqi, Director and Deputy Director of the Law Division of CCPIT Hangzhou respectively, representatives of lawyers from renown law firms in Hangzhou, and legal affair representatives from key enterprises.
